These terms apply to every order placed on ikitai.co. Placing an order means you accept them. Please read the section on how a preorder works in particular, because it is the part that differs from an ordinary shop.
No GSTIN is shown above because the business is below the GST registration threshold. Prices include any tax that applies; nothing further is added at checkout.
IKITAI does not hold stock. Each drop opens for a fixed number of garments and a fixed number of days, and the garments are printed only after the window closes. When you pay, the item you have bought does not exist yet.
This has three consequences worth being explicit about:
Prices are shown in your local currency where IKITAI sells to your market, and each market is priced separately rather than converted from a single figure. The price you see is the price charged.
Prices shown in Indian rupees include GST where it applies. Nothing is added at checkout except the stated shipping charge. For international orders, see the note on customs duties in the Shipping policy — those are charged by your country, not by IKITAI, and they are not included in the price.
Payments are processed by Razorpay, which accepts UPI, cards and netbanking. Your card or UPI credentials are entered on Razorpay's systems and are never received or stored by IKITAI. An order is only confirmed once Razorpay reports the payment as successful.
If a payment fails or is reversed by your bank, the order is void and nothing is printed.
You may cancel for a full refund at any time before printing begins — in practice, any time before the stated close date. Nothing has been made at that point, so there is nothing to lose by letting you out. After printing begins, see Returns and refunds, which also sets out the statutory rights of customers in the UK and the EU.
Measurements in centimetres are shown in the size picker before you pay. These garments are cut oversized by design, so your usual size in a high-street tee is not a reliable guide. Because each garment is printed because you ordered it, sizes cannot be exchanged after printing except where a statutory right applies. Please measure a garment you already own and compare.
All artwork, photography, designs, text and the IKITAI name on this site are owned by the business named above. Buying a garment does not transfer any rights in the artwork printed on it.
You are welcome to photograph and post a garment you own, including commercially as a creator. You may not reproduce the artwork on goods, print it, or use it to imply that IKITAI endorses you or your business.
Product photography is lit and styled, and colours vary between screens. Where an image is a render or a mock-up rather than a photograph of a finished garment, the brand will say so rather than let you assume otherwise. Fabric weights are given as the mill's specification and may vary by the mill's normal tolerance.
If a price or description is wrong, IKITAI may cancel the affected order and refund it in full rather than supply something other than what was described.
IKITAI is responsible for supplying garments that match their description and the published size guide, and for dispatching them by the stated date. If that does not happen, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund as set out in Returns and refunds.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, IKITAI's total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 in India, or the equivalent consumer legislation where you live.
Printing and shipping dates assume couriers, mills and printers continue to operate. Where a delay is genuinely outside IKITAI's control, you will be told what has happened and given the choice between waiting and taking a full refund. You will not be left to work out for yourself that a parcel is late.
These terms may change for future drops. The version that applies to your order is the version published on the day you paid, and the date at the top of this page tells you which that was.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [ set BUSINESS.jurisdictionCity in src/js/legal.js ] have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer outside India, this does not remove any right you have to bring a claim in your own country under your own consumer law.
Complaints go to the grievance officer named on the Contact page, who acknowledges within 48 hours and resolves within one month, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020.
